The Lehigh Valley Mental Health Awareness Walk and Resource Expo is a FREE annual community event held each May to promote Mental Health Awareness Month. The goal of this event is to raise awareness , provide access to resources and work toward reducing and eliminating the stigma surrounding mental illness.The day will include a optional 1.2 awareness walk, resource expo hosting 60+ local agencies and businesses, family activities (Photobooth, live music, henna artists and more)
This is a free community event.

One Man Dog – A James Taylor Tribute Show arrives at Godfrey Daniels on Friday, May 1 at 8PM, led by Philadelphia-area musician Ray Adkins. Known locally as the co-founder of The Manatees, Adkins launched this tribute after audiences repeatedly noticed how closely his voice matches the sound of James Taylor. The show features a mix of well-known favorites like “Fire and Rain,” “Sweet Baby James,” and “Carolina in My Mind,” along with deeper cuts from Taylor’s catalog.Backed by a seasoned group of musicians with extensive touring, studio, and television experience, One Man Dog recreates the familiar sound of these classic songs with care and precision.
Lehigh Choral Arts presents Out of the Depths, a concert that plumbs the depths of the human experience with works for full choir and orchestra. Featuring compositions by 20th and 21st century composers like Ralph Vaughan Williams, Andrew Maxfield, and more. Join us on a sonic voyage from darkness into light. Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center, in partnership with the Authority of Cumberland County, presents the 19th annual ECO Fair: Artful Living, Handmade & Homegrown on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine. ECO Fair is a free event inspired by natural and artful living, featuring local gardening clubs, including Rutgers Master Gardeners with various native and wildlife-friendly plants, locally grown herbs and vegetables for sale, handmade works of New Jersey artists, environmental organizations, Nature Trail tours, eco-friendly activities for families, live music, and more.
This year, CU Maurice River’s Keynote Speaker, Jennifer Brown, Collection Manager for the Glass Flowers at Harvard University, will be presenting “The Glass Flowers at Harvard University: Marvels of Art and Science.” Join us in the Event Center at 1 p.m. as Jennifer discusses one of Harvard University’s most famous treasures, the internationally acclaimed Ware Collection of Blaschka Glass Models of Plants, better known as the Glass Flowers.
Admission to all WheatonArts exhibits and Artist Studio demonstrations is free and open to the public for the day, part of WheatonArts Family Days, presented by PNC Arts Alive. Museum educators are on hand to help guide you in creating an artwork inspired by the Museum’s collection. Design your own creation and bring it to life on one of our 3D printers. Held St. John’s United Church of Christ, 139 N. 4th Street, Emmaus, PA 18049 - this whimsical event invites children and families to step into a world of wonder and imagination.
Designed to foster community connection and celebrate the beauty of spring, the Annual Tea Party offers fellowship for all ages. Attendees will enjoy tea, light refreshments, photo booth, and craft. This tea party is about building relationships, fostering love, and celebrating the joy of community.
Highlights of the event include:• Whimsical Tea Spread: Enjoy themed treats, sandwiches, and, of course, tea.• Fairy Crafting: Children will have the opportunity to create their own miniature fairy-themed craft to take home.
